COMMANDMENT #2: THY ARTIST ALWAYS BRING A CAMERA!

I stumbled across this commandment because I take my camera everywhere. With advances in technology and virtually every cell phone has a camera now, you should always have a camera with you. There are two major reasons for this:

A) As you will find in COMMANDMENT #7, when you begin to apply for the bigger shows they still require slides of your booth set-up. Check out www.slides.com. You can upload high-resolution digital images and they will create the slides at an affordable cost.

B) Take pictures of other displays. This will give you a good sense of what to do and what not to do.

*Special Note – Always ask the artist first, just in case. A photo release form is always good to have on hand, just in case.
