There are a variety of options for business cards on a low budget. You can print one from a Microsoft Word Template on your inkjet printer. Don’t forget the Internet! There a lot of viable options online. Check out vistaprint.com. You can get better cards for free! The only drawback is vistaprint.com puts their promotional info on the back. (This can be well overlooked when you don’t have a dime to your name)!
Overnightprints.com is a good resource if you want to design your own business card with a picture of your art and your contact information. The prices are very affordable and you have a lot of options if you are feeling sassy! Last, you could get lucky and know someone that works for a printing company.
Getting to the point, a person needs to know your contact information. They could be possible customers in the future even if you don’t have a web site or anything in between.
*Special Note – If you do not have an E-Mail account, sign-up for a free one. Most people will not call you on the phone.
I digress; one show I was at was so slow and I was bored to tears. I got out of my chair and just stood at the front of my booth and handed out business cards to everyone that passed by. This goes back to COMMANDMENT #3: NETWORKING.
